There was always going to be a lot of Disney on this list! A Whole New World is the best song from Disney's Aladdin for a kids sing along, but Arabian Nights, Friend Like Me and One Jump Ahead are also excellent choices.

The masters of child-friendly pop, most of the songs in the S Club 7 back catalogue make for a great kids karaoke session, but due to its upbeat, energetic tempo Don't Stop Moving is definitely the best.

Be warned: this song is a lot harder than most people realise, as while everyone remembers the opening Dr. Dre verse and chorus clearly, they tend to forget how difficult the Queen Pen verse at the end is!

The first hip hop song to win an Academy Award! An absolute masterpiece, Eminem wrote and recorded Lose Yourself during the breaks between shooting scenes for his film 8 Mile using a portable recording studio he brought on to the set.

If you're going to perform a hip hop party anthem, it doesn't get much better than the stand out single from 50 Cent's debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Any song that gets described by the usually austere BBC as "a spectacular party anthem" must be doing something right!

Macho Man and In The Navy are other absolute classics from The Village People, but a round up of the greatest disco karaoke songs of all time that doesn't include YMCA in the top 3 is quite simply wrong!

You might not think that ballads about outlaw gunslingers, pick up trucks and country roads would make for good karaoke song material, but trust us, they really do! Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jooooooooooleeeeeene.....

If Johnny Cash is the king of country and western, Dolly Parton is most definitely its queen and Jolene probably ranks as one of the greatest karaoke songs of all time, let alone just country and western karaoke!

A simple love song to his native land, John Denver's Take Me Home Country Roads was so adored by the people of West Virginia they actually decided to make it one of their official state anthems back in 2014.

That riff, a cross between a sitar and a revving dirt bike, is the most recognizable thing about the song. For such a ubiquitous hit, the lyrics continually surprise beyond the titular chorus. So much so that when Cat Power covered the tune in 2000, slicing off the refrain, it was a strange new poem about the anxiety of commercials and subliminal advertising. This from the first rock band to develop a brand logo, a pair of juicy red lips.

Other characters such as Majima also show off their singing chops.

Yakuza 5 features the most protagonists out of any other Yakuza game with five different ones to play as. Each one gets to show off their voices in karaoke, as well. Yakuza 5 was the first time that the most iconic Yakuza song made an appearance with Bakamitai. Fan favorites like "Machine Gun Kiss" and "GET to the Top" make a return, too.

Yakuza 6 scaled the multiple protagonists back with only Kiryu taking the spotlight. It also cut back down on the number of karaoke songs to the usual six. The trade-off, however, is that mostly new karaoke songs take their place.
