Changed: In previous versions, invalid values for GleamTech related configuration keys (e.g in Web.config or appsettings.json) wassilently ignored (exceptions were swallowed). From now on, invalid property values in config files will throw exceptions just like whenthey are set in code. This is especially useful for "DocumentUltimate:LicenseKey" property, i.e you should instantly know if you put an invalid licensekey (empty string for "DocumentUltimate:LicenseKey" property will also throw) without silently falling back to trial mode.

Fixed: Still happening issue, completely fixed now: When a license key was set and debugging in Visual Studio on Windows 10 Creators Update, the opened browser hanged on forever. The issue only happened on .NET 4.7 framework which came with Windows 10 Creators Update.

Fixed: License domain check for 3 letter domains failed as they were mistakenly treated as TLDs. Possible "Request is not available in this context" on probably earlier .net 4.0 versions when license key is set.

Changed: Licensing model. From now on, the license types are Professional, Enterprise and Distribution. Your existing license type (Developer, Developer OEM, Site, Site OEM) will still be valid but license keys are changed so please go to and acquire a new license key if you want to use this version (or higher). If your one year maintenance has not ended, you will receive a new license key without a charge. After your maintenance has ended, you will be able to upgrade to only new license types.

Fixed: Updated GleamTech.Core for fixing license domain issue, i.e. www prefix should be considered same as the parent (e.g. contoso.com and www.contoso.com should be treated the same).

If so you can download any of the below versions for testing. The product will function as normal except for an evaluation limitation. Linux is provided under the GNU General Public License version 2 only, but it contains files under other compatible licenses.[10] Since the late 1990s, it has been included as part of a large number of operating system distributions, many of which are commonly also called Linux.

When Torvalds released version 0.12 in February 1992, he adopted the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2) over his previous self-drafted license, which had not permitted commercial redistribution.[28] In contrast to Unix, all source files of Linux are freely available, including device drivers.[29] The initial success of Linux was driven by programmers and testers across the world. With the support of the POSIX APIs, through the libC that, whether needed, acts as an entry point to the kernel address space, Linux could run software and applications that had been developed for Unix.[30]

There are several kernel internal APIs utilized between the different subsystems. Some are available only within the kernel subsystems, while a somewhat limited set of in-kernel symbols (i.e., variables, data structures, and functions) is exposed also to dynamically loadable modules (e.g., device drivers loaded on demand) whether they're exported with the EXPORT_SYMBOL() and EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL() macros[132][133] (the latter reserved to modules released under a GPL-compatible license).[134]

Initially, Torvalds released Linux under a license which forbade any commercial use.[307] This was changed in version 0.12 by a switch to the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2).[28] This license allows distribution and sale of possibly modified and unmodified versions of Linux but requires that all those copies be released under the same license and be accompanied by - or that, on request, free access is given to - the complete corresponding source code.[308] Torvalds has described licensing Linux under the GPLv2 as the "best thing I ever did".[307]

The Linux kernel is licensed explicitly under GNU General Public License version 2 only (GPL-2.0-only) with an explicit syscall exception (Linux-syscall-note),[5][8][9] without offering the licensee the option to choose any later version, which is a common GPL extension. Contributed code must be available under GPL-compatible license.[10][107]

There was considerable debate about how easily the license could be changed to use later GPL versions (including version 3), and whether this change is even desirable.[309] Torvalds himself specifically indicated upon the release of version 2.4.0 that his own code is released only under version 2.[310] However, the terms of the GPL state that if no version is specified, then any version may be used,[311] and Alan Cox pointed out that very few other Linux contributors had specified a particular version of the GPL.[312]

In accordance with the license rules, LKMs using only a public subset of the kernel interfaces[132][133] are non-derived works, thus Linux gives system administrators the mechanisms to load out-of-tree binary objects into the kernel address space.[10]

The official kernel, that is the Linus git branch at the kernel.org repository, contains binary blobs released under the terms of the GNU GPLv2 license.[5][10] Linux can also search filesystems to locate binary blobs, proprietary firmware, drivers, or other executable modules, then it can load and link them into kernel space.[322]

This is where a compressor comes into play. PDF Compressor is able to reduce the dimensions of the file and thereby save on disk space. PDF Compressor is a compact and user-friendly app that can process files individually or in batch, in a few clicks.

PDF Compressor Pro 5 allows you to compress your PDF files quickly and easily for efficient sharing without the worry of large file size. It can save the compressed documents to the original PDF folder without overwriting the original PDF files, and the quality is never affected. It can also save the output to another folder if you specified the path as you like. It can automatically remove the restriction from the protected PDF files as well. Now sharing your PDF files on the internet and attaching the large files on emails is not a problem yet as it can effectively reduce the file size. The quality of the output file will remain the same as the original PDF file, and you can easily deal with a large number of files in batch mode with the license key.
